Ever since I saw my face on the computer screen and heard my words coming from the speakers at my school theater after writing and acting in a school drama festival, I knew that I wanted to work in the film industry. As a result of that day, when I think about my future all I can picture is me being on set of the movie I wrote, rewriting scripts to meet directors needs, or receiving an award for best screenplay. To achieve my dream I have set myself several goals. The goals that I have set for myself in the future are to move to New York, graduate from the New York Film Academy with an associate screenplay writing degree, and to start my career as a professional screenplay writer. I have many experiences that have prepared me to obtain these goals but the one that has taught me the most is being a quadriplegic in a wheelchair.
I am clearly aware that it is a very hard goal to achieve. It is so hard that it seems more like a dream to me now. But who can say that my dream cannot become true? To make the dream true and for myself in the future, I have to and will study harder and harder!
